Toto’s focus is simple: not just an endorsement, but real tailwheel proficiency; strong stick-and-rudder skill, sound judgment, and confidence you can take to any taildragger and beyond. A professional pilot and former air traffic controller, with backgrounds in aerospace engineering and law, he brings practical, disciplined coaching that turns training into capability.

Dave Breeding

CFI ($90/hr)

Dave is a fourth-generation pilot dedicated to preserving and passing on the knowledge, discipline, and art of flying. His approach to instruction emphasizes strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and respect for aviation traditions built over generations. Outside of instruction, he enjoys flying his wife and two young children whenever time allows, sharing the passion for flight that shaped his own path into aviation.

Alex Miller

CFI ($90/hr)

Alex is an agricultural pilot and A&P mechanic who is accustomed to flying and maintaining tailwheel airplanes in austere environments.  He enjoys the mission of assisting farmers, as well as the stick and rudder aspect of the job.  

When Alex isn’t needed at the farm he is dedicated to sharing his experience and knowledge with other pilots as a tailwheel instructor.  He’s passionate about introducing pilots to tailwheel flying and helping them build up their skills and confidence in tailwheel airplanes.

Bill English

CFI/CFII/MEI Gold Seal ($95/hr)

Bill has been flying for over 40 years and has an extensive depth of experience in aviation. He was an air traffic controller, and he is retired from the NTSB after 23 years as an accident investigator. Flight safety is integrated into everything he does. He has a passion for instruction, and has been a chief instructor at a large flight school. He flies his 1953 STOL equipped Cessna 170B “Cessquatch” at a nearby small grass strip.
